This Colombian Coconut Caramel coffee offers a unique and rich flavor profile with notes of coconut, coconut milk, caramel, butter, and cocoa.
The distinct taste is achieved through a special fermentation process, where coffee cherries are fermented with a large quantity of pineapple and coconut. To enhance fermentation, panela (unrefined cane sugar) is added, ensuring optimal sugar levels. After the first fermentation, the cherries are mixed with the liquid in a 1:1 ratio for additional sugar infusion, preventing over-fermentation or excessive alcohol formation. Once the process is complete, the coffee is lightly washed and then dried.
This coffee delivers a smooth and sweet profile with natural coconut and caramel notes, making it a delightful choice for those who enjoy unique and flavorful specialty coffee.
Suitable for filter and espresso.
